You know who amaze me? People who ride bikes without using their hands. How do they do it? How can you ride a bike without steering? Granted, I've never tried it because I'm too scared to, so it might not be as difficult as I think, but still, it's incredible. You would think that after almost 25 years of seeing this craziness I wouldn't be started and amazed every single time I see it, but I am. I'm sure if I tried it, the front wheel would pop off or I'd just fall off the bike. If there are handlebars, though, shouldn't that be where your hands go? It only makes sense... If your hands aren't on the handlebars, what do you do with them? You've got two free hands now, you can be even more useful. Maybe you should carry a can of soda, or a baby, or a book. I don't know how the minds of these crazy daredevil no-handed bicycle-riders work or what stunt they can come up with next to do with their two free hands, but they all amaze me. Kudos to you, no-handers.


I googled "riding a bike without hands" and came after many pages, finally found a quality picture that I liked... and a website wholly devoted to girls riding bikes with no hands. Here's a link to the "Girls Ride No Hands" Homepage. I know, the grammar doesn't make any sense, but what more can you ask for from such insanity. At least this lady knows what to do with her hands.

I finished reading Dracula by Bram Stoker. It was incredible. I don't know why I began reading it since I'm not into horror, but once I started reading it, I could barely put it down. The entire book was written in the form of journal entries and correspondences, and written beautifully. Totally recommended. I've added to my list of all-time favorite books.

I also finished reading Andromeda Strain by Michael Chrichton. For some reason it took me about 50 pages to get into it, but once I did, it was pretty good. Once the characters entered the lab I started to actually enjoy the book.
